Welcome
(updated for 2010/11 Season)
Bromley
Basketball Club has two men's teams. The 'A' team plays in
Medway Division 1 and the 'B' team in Division 2.
We
train on Thursday evenings at Bishop Justus School just off the A21 (Bromley Common). You can find the address
and a map of how to get there by clicking the 'Training Venue' link on the menu. Training is 19.30-21.15.
To see when the next training session is click the 'Training & Fixtures' link on the menu.
If you've played to a reasonable standard (perhaps you're already playing local
league or have played good competitive school basketball) then get in contact or just come down to training one
night. Your first training session won't cost you a penny - we may even throw in a second session for free too. If after
that you're happy and keeping up you may be asked join the club.
Training
is a fairly casual affair but games are taken a bit more seriously. However, the club does operate a 'if
you pay, you play' policy so there are no benchwarmers here. If you are invited to join the club and selected
for one of the teams you WILL get court time. We are passionate about playing and playing well but once the game is over the
important thing is to get to the pub before last orders.
If you're under 18 you may find Bickley & Bromley
Youth Basketball Club a better bet. Click on the link below for their details. However, if you're 16, 6ft 4in tall and
can leap like a salmon, try us out first!
